2nd grade Longhorns in Bluebonnets

Cows make such great subjects for art. Their docile, inquisitive personalities really come through when they are drawn, especially by children. In this lesson, students will learn about Baroque artist Paulus Potter who enjoyed painting farm animals. We used our Texas Longhorns as inspiration and imagined them in a field of beautiful Bluebonnets.
