3rd - School Of Fish

After reading the book "Swimmy" by author/illustrator Leo Lionni, students created their own school of fish. Students began by making a custom stencil of an original fish. Next, they traced their stencil to create rhythm and movement in the composition. To complete the artwork, the fish were painted with the wet-on-wet technique using watercolor paints, and a salt technique was used on the ocean to create an underwater texture.
