6th Grade Artist Study Selfie (Tim Burton & Modigliani)

Modigliani and Tim Burton are known for creating unique and expressive characters. Modigliani portrayed people with elongated features and Tim Burton created characters with exaggerated and unconventional appearances. Both have been described as "quirky" in their style. 
Student Artists explored the art of these two artists and then used what they saw as a jumping board for a self-portrait in a similar style. It was really fun to see the artists find their style within this study. We hope you enjoy these as much as we did making them.
