1st Grade Coral Mural

1st Grade Artists used known shapes to help distinguish organic shapes. We looked at many different types of coral. The student artists chose a type they liked and drew their own version of the coral. They traced their coral with a permanent marker and then added simple printmaking techniques to give the impression of texture. These artists worked very hard; we think they are lovely and original. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
