Process Art Project-1

Process Art- Process art is an artistic movement where the act of making the artwork and learning during that time is emphasized more than the artwork itself.  It is designed to allow them to experience the artistic medium and experiment without fear of the end result.  To help them feel free to take artistic chances- CREATIVITY TAKES COURAGE. Students used one class period to create a new painting using squeegee/scrape method with three colors of their choice, mixing paint to get the colors they desired prior to applying it.  The choice of continuing to add to their artwork was given using acrylic paint with other forms of improvised art materials to apply it to the artwork - anything other than a brush.
