Grandparents Day Celebration

Kindergarten and 1st- Students created a flower by tracing their hand and using that as the main bloom for their bouquet and additional flowers made are inspired by their Grandparents. 2nd and 3rd are making a banner each student doing a letter of the banner decorated with images inspired by their Grandparents- Banner will say "THANK YOU GRANDPARENTS CELEBRATION 2024". 4th grade created large mural drawings together three to a page with pictures inspired by their Grandparents and time they spent with them. 5th grade created wire sculptural flowers from pipe cleaners and they are to be used as centerpieces for dinner with Grandparents. 6th graders made paintings inspired by their grandparents, some have words that describe their memories or special things their grandparents like, others do not include words. We hope to have these displayed on the center of the tables for the dinner as well. All students had the opportunity to use two class sessions to create their artwork in honor of their Grandparents and they are looking forward to the special event with them.
