7th Grade: Artists edit too! Aspen Landscapes

As a class, we discussed how everything we see is edited.... social media, videos, photos... before it is presented to the world. Yet as artists, we often don't think about how much editing and work it takes to turn a rough draft of our art into a final copy, presentation ready to display. Students had choice of editing materials: watercolor, colored pencil, scissors, sharpie pen and their imagination. Students worked hard to turn their art into a final copy, ready to share with the world!
