Music Inspired Painting-Horlander

You will brainstorm and develop a painting that expresses the inspiration you experienced while listening to music.   Objective: To discover how to find inspiration from a song and to also complete a detailed painting. Expectations: While listening to the music let your mind wander Immediately after listening write out everything you thought of, saw in your mind, or/and remembered. Even if you think it’s small or not important, write it down. Make a draft  Look over your list and choose one idea  Draw out how you could visually express that idea Take pictures to use as source images and email them to me Make a preliminary sketch to transfer  Using a sheet of paper the size of your canvas, draw out your painting Use transfer paper to transfer the image onto your canvas or paper Keep your original drawing in case you need to transfer it again
