Neon Line Paintings (Horlander)

Objective: Learn how to use acrylic paint to create contrast and repetition using lines. Expectations: You will complete a draft of the line patterns. You will cover all of the canvas with your first, second, and third layers of paint. Draft Decide what types of lines you want to use Sketch your ideas on a permanent marker after you are happy with the pencil design. Paint Paint the canvas with neon paint in an abstract design, making sure all of the canvas is covered. Tape off your design on top of the dried first layer. Paint a thin layer of clear acrylic medium. Paint a thin layer of black on top. Once it is completely dry, pull up the tape.
