Aurora Borealis

We learned about the Aurora Borealis (also known as the Northern Lights). We learned about the artist Frederic Edwin Church who created the first recorded painting of the aurora borealis to educate people about how this phenomenon looks. We used chalk pastel and tempera paint to create this landscape.
