Karla Gerard Landscape

Students learned about the artist Karla Gerard and created a landscape inspired by her artwork. We used oil pastel to divide the landscape into sections. In each section students created patterns. Next we painted on top with watercolor paint. Then students learned how to draw 2D and 3D houses in the style of Karla Gerard. Finally students cut and glued the houses on top to create their finished landscape.
