2021 January-February

In the bleak mid winter MTES students have been buisilly creating works of art.  Our thouughts turned to Australia where the weather is sunny and warn.  Platypus, Koala, and Aboriginal Dot paintings were the theme for Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade.  PreK reveled in "the Snowy Day" by collaging and drawing about their favorite snow day activities.  The 2nd grade students learned about Alexander Calder the invetor of the Mobile.  We used things that move as our inspiration for a very unique painting.  Finally the 4ht grade analyzed examples of Op Art before creating thier own eye fooling compositions.
