Artist's read the book Raccoon Moon and learned about the habits of raccoons. We looked at the artwork of Jeanne Liverive, a French illustrator for inspiration. Students created their own Raccoon Portraits after practicing drawing a raccoon and setting up their media paper. We used mixed media on this project.
