This project was inspired by the book “I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More!” by David Catrow. The goal of this lesson was for kindergarteners to learn how to use watercolor paint and care for the supplies, experiment with color, and use wax resist methods with oil pastels. This was also a way for me to assess where they are starting with their figure drawing abilities.
