3rd Grade Fall Art Showcase

Third grade looked at what shapes would help them to draw their Frankenstein's. They used crayons to color and create a wax resist for when they painted their watercolor backgrounds. They used a wet technique with their watercolors to blend colors together. They got creative with their final designs of how they wanted their Franks to look.

One of my favorite projects is their watercolor pumpkins. They learned about techniques with watercolor and experimented with their Overlapping Pumpkin Drawings. They enjoyed painting at their easels and this took about 3 classes to paint.
