Anita Manata
I am a sixth grade teacher at The Classical Academy in Escondido, California. Our school has an Art in Action program where a volunteer docent leads the students in an art lesson after teaching a bit about an artist. My students LOVE their docents and the projects they create. As the classroom teacher, I also add art into my student's activities when I can. I believe students learn best academically if they are able to also express themselves creatively. I'm excited to share our creations on Artsonia.
