6th Grade Personal Letter Sculpture

We made lists and drew sketches in our sketchbooks of things we liked. This was a little hard as we couldn’t use copyrighted images to express things we like. How do you show your favorite things without using the logo? How do you show your favorite video game without the characters? Then taking a letter from our name or nickname we made 3d letters that we built out of cardboard. Those were then given a light coat of papier mache to seal up the seams. After a base coat of a favorite color, we drew some of those original designs on our letter with markers or paint. Since this is a sculpture we had to work on the design from all sides.We hope you like them and maybe learn a little bit about each of us!
