Students looked at artwork by artist Charles McGee. They learned how lines could create interesting textures. They could also be turned into 3-Dimensional art. For our project, students created five different lines across a sheet of paper. They filled each section with lines to make patterns. We then, cut our paper on our original lines, and turned our 2-Dimensional drawing into a 3-Dimensional Sculpture!
