Monochromatic Landscape Painting

In this project students studied the work of Claude Monet and created landscape paintings in a monochromatic color harmony using atmospheric perspective.  Students used techniques to change the value of tempera cake paint and painting in layers to create interesting compositions that show depth through the use of atmospheric perspective.
