2nd Grade Concert: On the Radio

Students were inspried by the artist Charles McGee and created a black and white sculptures out of paper.

Students began by designing a variety of patterns with high contrast. They then cut out these patterns and glued them to a base while considering how they wanted the sculptural forms to look individually and as whole group.

Students made sure to put in their best work: taking their time to carefully fill in their patterns, accurately cut out their designs, and neatly glue it all together.
