Painted Paper Weaving

Students studied the meaning of color theory and had discussions about different color schemes (warm colors, cool colors, primary colors, etc. Students explored mixing colors by creating textured painted papers with paint scraping tools to create unique designs. Students will then weave the painted papers to make a colorful paper weaving work of art.
