Oil Pastel Pumpkins

Kindergartners learned about oil pastels in art class. Oil pastels are like special crayons that are softer and more colorful. They make bright pretty colors and you can blend them easily to make new colors. We focused on using the oil pastels to create curved lines for the roundness of the pumpkin and giving it a textured look. We then used our fingers to blend the oil pastel lines and create a smooth surface!
