Kindergarteners looked at paintings by famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. They listened to the story Camille and the Sunflowers A Story About Vincent Van Gogh. They looked at real sunflowers in vases and drew a sunflower, as big as the sun, in a vase. They outlined with Sharpie and colored with markers. Students drew spiral lines in the background.
