THIRD & FOURTH GRADE SNOWMEN 2024

Our third and fourth grade students embarked on a creative journey to design their own unique snowman artwork! These will be on display at our Winter Sing-Along! We began by exploring various examples of artists who have depicted snowmen in imaginative and thematic ways. These examples served as inspiration and sparked our students' creativity. After discussing these artistic snowmen, the students brainstormed ideas for their own creations. They considered different themes and styles, deciding what kind of snowman they wanted to create and which materials they would use. From traditional snowmen to whimsical and fantastical designs, the students' ideas were as varied as they were creative. We encourage you to ask your child about their snowman artwork. Some questions to get the conversation started include: What inspired your snowman design? What materials did you choose to use and why? How did you decide on the theme or style for your snowman?
