Gingerbread Friends -Kindergarten

Making Gingerbread Friends is a RES Kindergarten Tradition. Students gain skills in working with clay and adding the details that describe a character they would like as a gingerbread friend. This develops their ability to tell a visual story about the pieces they create. We learned about the effects of glaze and how to handle fragile fired clay pieces- luckily glue surgery is painless and usually effective.
