8th Grade Hearts and Minds

Do you follow your heart?  Do you use your head?  
Which do you tend to do the most?

In this project, the Prescott 8th graders explore the age-old debate between hearts and minds.  Most of us probably have different opinions on this topic, and we probably fall somewhere on a spectrum between relying on our hearts and minds when making choices.  The class took a Buzzfeed quiz just for fun, and they discussed whether they thought their results were accurate or not.  They were asked to reflect on whether they tend to be "team head" or "team heart", and they made art to communicate this part of their identity.  Enjoy their work!  If you are curious, 36.1% of our 8th graders are "team heart", 33.3% are "team brain" and 30.6% are split evenly between the two.
