Hurray for Clay!

First students practiced their sculpting skills to twist, roll and mold their play dough. Next we sliced, slimy slabs of Gray Clay to start sculpting a theme for each grade level. After the sculptures were made they were FIRED in our KILN at 1942 degrees to turn our clay to BISQUEWARE. After it cooled we used GLAZE to paint our pieces. They sculptures were FIRED again to create glassy, colorful finished pieces.
