Students created dancing lady portraits with oil pastels on paper. They achieved movement and rhythm in the flowing dress and curved lines. This project was inspired by the artist Bernard Hoyes. He is a Jamaican born artist who infuses his Afro-carribean culture and spirituality into his oil paintings. Bright colors and Rhythmic movement showcase his Jamaican roots.
