1st grade Ish-Portraits

1st Grade and I read Ish by Peter H Reynolds about drawing things ish-ly. Like Treeish, Houseish, Happyish, etc. We then got mirrors and tried to draw our own self-portraits! Ishly of course. On the second day we got paints and tried to paint our faces and hair and all the little details. We had so much fun mixing colors we forgot about our faces sometimes; but they all ended up with beautiful portrait-ish artworks!
