Kindergarten Dot painting!

Students read the Dot! By Peter h. Reynolds, and then do their first painting of the year! We paint shapes and colors however we want and practice good technique with cleaning our brushes and keeping our paint trays neat. The second day, we talk about patterns and shapes and explore ways to add to our paintings by drawing on top of them. When we were done, we held a small gallery and talked about what we liked in each other's painting!
