Brick Carving (Sem 2)

Students carved a relief into a green brick which they received from Bowerston Shale Co., our local brick company. They learned about brick carving from a local sculptor, Michael Williams, while they were on a field trip to the company. Students had to focus on depth, reduction carving, planning, and the processes of working with this material.
