Students studied the polar lights or auroras and how they form. They created these landscapes using washable marker wash and a variety of self selected techniques including collage, printmaking, painting, drawing, or other individually developed processes. They also studied the science of snowflakes and experimented with creating snowflake imagery for their landscapes and as stand alone artworks.
