Whimsical Paper Mache Owls

Students created owls, starting with a newspaper and tape armature. They added 2 layers of newspaper paper mache and 1 layer of brown paper towel, then painted them. They first painted a variety of solid colors in a preplanned color scheme, then they added patterns to some of these areas.
