EK, Kinder & First Grade Spring Art Show 2024

Check out what we have been up to in the Hoover art room the past few months!

EK has been working with shapes, lines, textures, space, forms. They have been practicing cutting, gluing, printmaking, painting, and drawing skills. Most recently we learned about murals and made a collaborative cityscape.

Kinder has been working with shapes, lines, forms, texture, pattern, and space. They have been practicing cutting, gluing, painting, printmaking, coloring, and drawing skills. Most recently they learned about collage and how to cut rounded shapes to make their own animal/ creature artworks.

1st Grade has been working with lines, shapes, forms, patterns, symmetry, printmaking, textures, space, and showing movement in art. They’ve been practicing painting, printmaking, stamping, and drawing skills. Most recently they learned about Chinese New Year and created dragons that showed movement and practiced different painting techniques like wet on wet painting and crayon resist.
