2nd Grade

Due to our schedule this year we weren't able to make a ton of artwork, but our 2nd graders did a great job on the ones we created. These artists started out learning about warm and cool colors,and cityscapes. Then they learned about the color wheel, mixing colors and dove into ways to create texture. For their final project we learned about artist Heather Galler, what a folk artist is, and they got to use a couple new mediums (bingo daubers filled with india ink and neon oil pastels!) to create some really striking patterned flower portratis.
