Contour Line Drawing - Hands - Pluck

In this project, students will draw their hands from observation using only contour lines. Focusing on the contour lines of the hand with accurate proportions and fine details, students will trace the outer edges and inner features, such as fingers, wrinkles and creases using one continuous lines to convey its three-dimensional form. The emphasis will be on capturing the hands structure and texture through observation, while refining the use of contour lines to suggest depth, volume, and spatial relationships.
