Friedensreich Hundertwasser Landscapes

Students used critical thinking strategies to learn how artists use lines in a work of art.  Students learned about Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, his love of art and architecture, and his dislike of straight lines.  Students created imaginative landscapes with abundant "lollypop" trees and bright colors.  Students were challenged to use a wide variety of lines to communicate the land and architecture in this imaginative work.
