Artist Trading Cards

Students will make thoughtful decisions when developing a theme and exploring mixed media to create their Artist Trading Cards. 5 points = planning (found at least 3 reference photos, sketched ideas) 5 points = theme (either an emotion, a story, inspired by an artist, or pop culture) 5 points = materials used (tempera paint, collage, colored pencils, or a combination - used at least two different mediums, explored fully and effectively) 5 points = techniques applied (use techniques appropriate for medium) 5 points = tool usage (used materials safely, appropriately, and effectively)
