Given the fact that all of the amazing autumn leaves had almost fallen and leading into Thanksgiving, I thought students would enjoy this fun mini-project. We used inspiration derived from nature (and our senses) to create an INTERESTING, UNIQUE, AND PERSONAL work of art for those WE LOVE (a gift for you)!
This compilation of hand/leaf drawings, with splashes of warm & cool colors, was created with different media in class this past week. Students used oil and chalk pastels, watercolors, colored pencils, and markers to create meaningful compositions focused on space and the application of color to create lines & borders.
