Day of the Dead (Calaca's) Black Light Art

Theme for this project was Día de Los Muertos. This is our first black light project of the year. Students had to create a scenery using calacas (skeletal figures) that are known in this holiday. Prior to project, students studied how human bones are positioned in poses which is called figure studies. Students had to research how they were to apply fluorescents to their artwork for a black light show.
