Unit 1: IMPRESSIONISM—Impressionist Seascape

Students used their knowledge of color, short brush strokes, and reference image “Argenteuil Basin with a Single Sailboat, 1874” by Claude Monet in order to create their own seascape paintings in the style of Impressionist Artists, such as, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Eduard Manet, and Renoir.
