W.O.W. Projects

W.O.W. stands for Wonderful Original Work of art The idea of a W.O.W. project is conceived by the student either through something observed, remembered, imagined, or felt. After completing an initial sketch to figure out composition, the student makes their art "bigger and better" by using better quality paper. Then, the student gets to choose their medium (colored pencil, marker, etc.). While progressing on their art, they can ask other artists or the teacher for feedback. Finally, when the student feels the art is complete, he/she will write an artist statement.
