Lower School Art from Home Art Show

Hello LCDS art fans!
Our last trimester brought on unexpected changes for all of us. We each wore many different hats as our school community adjusted to teaching, learning, communicating, understand, empathizing, and reaching out to keep each other healthy and safe.
I wanted to share some of the art projects the lower school students shared with me during this time through email.
Most projects were designed using found objects and recycled materials since students were working with limited materials. The students inspired me every week to come up with interesting ways to share opportunities for them to learn about different artists and perhaps "see things" at home a little differently using an artistic lens. 2019/20 is one we will remember!

Thank you for your kind and supportive words especially during our virtual finish to the school year. We have a very strong community at LCDS.
