1st grade clay owls

Students worked with air-dried clay to make these adorable clay owls. We used clay tools and marker caps to add texture and fine-line details. We painted the owls using realistic owl colors, but the patterns and the designs were their creations. We also talked about trees and bark and used watercolor paper, oil pastels, and watercolor paint to make homes for our owls.
