Butterfly Explosion

The artists dropped tempera paints in primary colors onto one half of their butterfly shape. Then, they folded it in half and opened it to reveal a symmetrical pattern on the wings of the butterfly. They finished by cutting out and gluing a body to the center of the wings to create the butterfly.
