Middle School Portrait Drawings

Students created personalized portrait drawings from direct observation, photographs, or imagination. They had the choice to use a variety of drawing materials and white or gray paper. If they chose to draw an animated character or a fantasy person, they had to incorporate at least one realistic facial feature they learned to draw. This presentation includes some of the practice sketches students made leading up to their final drawings.
