2Mu Seascapes of Color

2nd Grade students viewed seascapes and discussed how artists used both color and movement to create a feeling or mood in their art. Students created seascapes with a foreground, middle ground and background using repeating waves, and added their own details. They also focused on blending oil pastels using analogous colors (colors next to each other on the color wheel.). They are gorgeous!
