About this School Project (1st Panda in Bamboo)
Students take a virtual field trip and learn about the Giant Panda in China, where they live, what they like to eat, what is Bamboo, their habitats, how big they are, and that they like to sleep a lot. Students create their own Pandas in their habitat of bamboo, the Pandas favorite food. First, students draw their panda and color it with black using geometric shapes. Next, students drew bamboo stalks using pencil in the background. They then used yellow crayon to color the bamboo and green for the background. Students outlined the bamboo with brown crayon and added leaves with green crayon. To make our bamboo look real and 3D, we added texture by drawing curved lines with shading on the bamboo.
