About this School Project (1st Eric Carle Shape Books)
Students in First Grade read the book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?” by Eric Carle and Mr. Martin. We created our own rhyming books by reading each page, then drawing, cutting, and gluing a shape that belonged on that page. Some shapes we learned included squares, rectangles, ovals, circles, and triangles. Students enjoyed rhyming while working and relating art to reading.
