About this School Project (Y5/KG 3D Paper Sculpture)
Students learned to make a three-dimensional paper sculpture: using it as a playground for a mouse. We watched an awesome video about sculpture which taught us that it can be made of many different types of materials, and can be viewed from all different sides. Students learned about the primary colors red, yellow, and blue and were introduced to secondary colors. These three colors make all the other colors in the color wheel. We learned how to make a paper sculpture using lines. The paper glued flat to our black paper is a straight line. We also learned how to make an accordian fold for a zigzag line. Lastly, we learned how to twist our paper around for a wavy line and how to make a bridge with a curved piece of paper. Will your mouse enjoy the playground?
